I've been trying to push myself out of my comfort zone in recently by working faster and on things I don't normally work on. So, the "Design a Character" group on Deviant Art posted a challenge to come up with a weapon and then create a character inspired by the weapon. I don't do much weapon design or character design stuff in general, so it sounded like a way to work on something I usually don't do/avoid. This was a product of that challenge, I tried to work quickly, and work in colors that are a little lighter than my usual.
